Neutral Old-World Wedding Inspiration | Toronto, Ontario Wedding Photographer

I photographed this stunning Bridal Inspiration shoot while visiting Toronto. This styled shoot was pure magic. I have been dreaming of photographing a session like this for years and years, so when Danielle at Shaw Events and I got together to make it happen, it felt like everything aligned perfectly. We aimed to create a timeless, utterly romantic scene that radiated old-world vibes. Every detail felt as if it was from a past era.

It was my goal to create an overall aesthetic that was light and airy in order to go along with the the "light seeking" theme inspired by the gothic era. The gorgeous white arches at the venue really tied the theme together. The calligraphy by Paper Ocelot featured typical elements of European gothic architecture; an era in art history which influenced the design of the venue: The Hart House. The shape of the ring mirrored the rose shaped windows of gothic architecture, and the dark gems match our bride's striking features. The dress from Sash & Bustle was oh-so delicate and romantic. The gorgeous bouquet from Bloom & Co was the perfect balance of neutral & classic, yet wild and deconstructed.
